2015 ACHA RED
These vines are grown in Lodi from Pingus budwood I brought from Ribera del Duero, Spain several years ago. The 2015 Acha is marked by incredible richness and a super-nova of aromas. Ultra-ripe blackberries, black plums, strawberry jam, raspberries, cola, rose petals and dark chocolate abound in the glass. Secondary notes of rhubarb, moss, black cardamom and Nori add incredible complexity to this structured, powerful wine.
The palate is laden with ethereal flavors of dark fruits, the tannins are impressive yet balanced and the finish lingers and lingers begging for the next sip. Drink now and over the next two decades.

The 2015 Acha, 100% Tempranillo, is another wow wine from Mark Herold. Sumptuous, racy and flavorful, the 2015 packs a serious punch. The flavors are dark, bold and incisive. Varietal character comes through mostly in the wine's structure.
