2015 Dessert Wine
Made from the Bennett vineyard in Coombsville and fortified with brandy, an eau-de-vie made from Viognier grapes, this Port-styled dessert wine possesses very forward expressions of black and red fruits with blackberry, crème-de cassis, ripe raspberries, black cherries, fruit cake and cigar tobacco. Adding further complexity are notes of flint stone, fudge, and espresso bean. The mouth is a seamless extraction of brooding dark fruit flavors that melt into echoing melting tannins.
