2021 COOMBSVILLE
Winemaker's Tasting Notes
The 2021 Coombsville is an inky purple/black wine with an enormous array of intense aromas. Exploding from the glass are perfumed fruit: exotic black raspberries, loganberries and black currants; with suede leather, scorched earth, wet bricks, and black molasses. Adding further complexity are hints black cardamom, dark chocolate, and cinnamon. This wine is mouth-coatingly rich, hugely concentrated, with the velvetiest of tannins, ultimately producing a seamless experience. Sweet ripe fruit explodes on the palate, showing gorgeous ripe black fruit and amazing balance. At the same time a powerful and delicious wine. Drink the 2021 Coombsville over the next 25 years.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Brown Label (Coombsville) is a plush, succulent wine. Black cherry, blackberry jam, spice, mocha, licorice and chocolate give the 2021 tons of early appeal. Dramatic, vibrant and powerful, the 2021 is a pretty, young, approachable Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon. – 95 pts, Antonio Galloni
